Description
This big, bubbly, beautiful cauldron is the star of the 2023 spooky art collection, and for good reason, she’s GORGEOUS! Bursting with beads, felt balls, eyeballs, a tentacle, and a touch of magic, this spook-tacular piece of mixed media art is the type of art piece you leave up year round despite it being a tad spooky.
This piece is displayed in a 7×9 inch embroidery hoop that has been painted matte black. The background is a purple and black spider web print fabric that has been painted with various glitter paints. The cauldron is made using needle felting techniques and hand sewing – nothing is glued or wired into place. The sticks in the fire are, in fact, real sticks from my kids prized stick collection, which I think makes this piece all the more special.
